Sea cucumber is used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat fatigue, impotence, constipation, frequent urination, and joint pain. It is also a rich source of chondroitin sulfate, commonly used for arthritis.
This sea cucumber is about 20 pieces per pound. Perfect size for one time consumption per person.

These sea cucumbers are sun dried without adding salt to retain the original nutrition.

Preparation:
- Wash the sea cucumber and soak in the purified water for 2 days until they are soft. Change the water everyday.
- Clean the guts out and wash again. Make sure to keep the tendon, which contains great amount of nutrition.
- Bring a pot of water to boil. Cook the soaked sea cucumbers for 10 minutes. Turn off the stove and let it cool down.
- Soak in a oil-free container full of purified water for another 1-2 days until tender
Note: A large amount of abalone can be soaked at once and then leave in the freezer for storage. To defrost, leave in the fridge overnight or sit in cool water.
